If I told you you could have a box full of sausages delivered to your door, you’d be excited right?
Well get ready for your pulse to be racing because the Sausage Lover’s Box from Swaledale is just that. For all the sausage fans out there, this one’s for you – it was certainly one for me.
You might wonder just how someone might receive a big box of sausages without them going off. Well, Swaledale butchers, an online butchers have got it all sussed out. The food arrives chilled, in well packaged, well insulated box containing all the meat alongside some ice packs to maintain the temperature.
The packaging is spot on because with it all being card, it goes straight in the recycling. This means your general waste doesn’t get choked up with packaging. Plus, recycling is great for the environment.
The ice packs can go back in your freezer and be used for injuries, picnics, or any other icy needs. They also have disposal instructions on them, should you decide you don’t want to keep them. Aparrently the gel inside can be a great method of hydration for your plants.
Swaledale Sausage Lover’s Box Review
Before I tell you just how good these sausages are, I think it’s important you know just what you get in the box.
The box is handily called “The Sausage Lover’s Box” and costs £63.90 and contains 9 hefty packets of sausages. That might sound like a lot of sausages – and honestly, it is.
You can freeze these sausages at home, and I recommend you do (unless you’re having a party). Even if you ate a big sausage dinner every day, I doubt you could comfortable get through this amount of meat (and trust me, I’m experienced in big dinners.)

- 1 x 495g pack Yorkshire Breakfast Chipolatas
- 1 x 480g pack Calabrian Sausages

- 1 x 480g pack Lamb Merguez Sausages

- 1 x 480g pack Tuscan-style Pork, Fennel & Red Wine Sausages

So far, we’ve sampled 4 different types of sausage and all have been amazing.
The styles of sausage seems to vary a bit from what you’d normally get in supermarkets, which is something I definitely like. There are also traditional sausages too.
I found the Texan-style hot links had a bit of a kick, and the Tuscan-style Pork, Fennel & Red Wine Sausages made for an interesting twist on a sausage bun.
The traditional breakfast sausage was real treat on my full English and I tried a mixture of different sausages in my bangers and mash.
All I can say is this is a supreme selection and theses juicy sausages have been a delight to review. If you’re considering buying this, then absolutely go ahead. Don’t hesitate!
