Win a Seizmont Holger Dante Watch Worth £179!

Man oh man, have we pulled something special out of our hat this week! We’re giving away a brand-new Seizmont Holger Dante watch worth a cool £179.

Yes that’s right. I do spoil you lot don’t I.

We’ve teamed up with the lovely people at Trendhim, a veritable one-stop shop for men’s accessories, to bring this sensational prize to you.

This is the kind of prize I love to offer. I’m a massive watch enthusiast and can waffle on for days about the age-old art of horology. As such, I’m not just going to tell you the watch is great; I’m going to tell you WHY the watch is great! Strap yourself in while I rattle off some of these features.

Doesn’t the Seizmont Holger Dante look incredible on the wrist? That could be YOUR wrist!

Seizmont Holger Dante Features:

Automatic Mechanical Movement

These are the type of movements that true watch buffs collect. For the uninitiated, it basically means it will never need a battery.

All those tiny cogs and levers work together in beautiful unison to turn the hands on the dial. Its power is derived from a free-swinging rotor at the back. As your wrist moves, so does the rotor, meaning that it runs on person power. Just simply wearing it gives it all the power it needs.

Because they don’t require any batteries or electronics, mechanical watches can be passed on through generations.

Sapphire Crystal

Commonly referred to as ‘the glass’, a watch’s crystal protects the inside of the watch whilst still making the dial visible. Cheaper watches use crystals that end up getting scuffed and scratched up pretty easily. Think about how many times your arm brushes against doorways or on top of desks.

Once you get to more expensive watches, they almost exclusively use sapphire crystal. This is a material that’s far more resistant to scratches. I’ve had watches that I’ve worn for pretty-hands-on jobs that have zero scratches on. I even dropped one face down onto concrete that didn’t scuff. Whilst I’m sure that it’s possible to scratch sapphire crystal if you really really tried, I’ve never received a single mark on any of my watches that have sapphire crystal.

Skeleton Dial

This just means that the dial (or face), has parts cut out of it so that you can actually see the movement working. It’s a beautiful sight to see your watch spinning and ticking away. To get an idea of what to expect, take a look at the video on Trendhim’s product page.

Stainless Steel Bracelet and Case

The Holger Dante watch features a large 44mm case for easy viewing, and a black stainless steel bracelet with a deployment clasp, making it easy to take on and off.

Okay, okay, I’ve teased you enough. You just want to know how you can get your hands on one don’t you? As ever, all you need to do is follow the steps in the Rafflecopter widget below. Best of luck!
